I have known Dorian Withrow for over five years, and in that time, I’ve seen him grow tremendously as a martial artist. He is an excellent student who consistently pushes himself to improve. He’s also a great competitor—focused, disciplined, and always striving to perform at his best while maintaining a respectful and sportsmanlike attitude.

Dorian is incredibly talented yet remains humble. He genuinely cares about those around him, which is especially evident in the thoughtful support and guidance he offers during partner work. He always greets everyone with a smile. His dedication, work ethic, and friendly attitude make him a valuable part of our school.

Hi, Mr. Withrow, my dear! I really enjoyed this interview. I feel like this is a topic that rarely gets discussed, yet it is so needed—especially in the Black community. Years ago, an old friend told me that mental health is often unacknowledged in the Black community, and I still believe that to be true. From a personal standpoint, I can relate to traumatic experiences and mental health struggles. I’m still working on my healing journey.

I’m so happy for you, Mr. Withrow. I truly enjoyed this interview. Thank you for sharing it with me! I hope to hear from you soon. Stay safe, and God bless you, my dear! More people need to know that they are not alone in this journey.
